How these documents work
A quotation, individual agreement and product-specific terms prevail where they address the same matter. Nothing in these documents limits mandatory statutory rights. Contact us before contracting if anything is unclear.
01
Free personal account and KOREOS companies
Revised October 22, 2026. A personal Free account is free, with no card, paid subscription or automatic paid conversion. It cannot manage people, teams or companies. New companies use KOCHAT through a KOREOS contract; new standalone KOCHAT contracts are unavailable. Existing contracts and workspaces are preserved. KOMORI General Terms also apply.
02
Joining, leaving and removal from groups
By accepting these terms you request matching of your conversations with KOMORI using your verified email and existing records. A valid invitation to the same email or a safe match permits automatic joining. Unverified phones, name-only matches and ambiguous identical names require administrator approval. Old messages may be linked to your account when identity is safely established. You may leave; group managers may approve, reject or remove membership. Actions are recorded and exits/removals are notified by email. Automatic matching does not reverse removal or leaving.
03
Free features and limits
You can access only groups you belong to, send messages and files there, and DM or call people sharing a group. Initial limits: 30 groups, 8 pending requests, 25 MB per file and 300 MB storage per person. Calls depend on service and platform availability. No company directory, employee list, group/company creation or management, internal management tools or AI are included. There is no individual purchase or upgrade. Future limit changes will be announced before applying; reaching a cap blocks corresponding new usage without automatic charges.
04
Data, rights and security
Name, email, optional phone, language, password hash, IP, acceptance and membership records are processed to create and secure the account, verify email, locate groups and notify decisions. Authorized administrators see information necessary to decide admission. Participants see your name and group messages. The Privacy Policy describes security, processing outside Japan, providers and channels for access, correction, deletion and cessation of use under APPI. Impersonation and use of other people’s data are prohibited. Account deletion is available in the app and account page; shared messages and records may remain anonymized to preserve conversations and legal obligations.
05
Governing law and contracting
Japanese law applies without restricting mandatory rights. This page is not a sale or payment authorization: the personal account is free. Paid organizational services require a KOREOS quotation and contract; price, tax, payment, cancellation and applicable Specified Commercial Transactions disclosures are provided before contracting. Contact KOMORI株式会社 through this page and the Privacy Policy.
